Notice of Prohibited Items at Landfill

Parkland Regional Waste Management Authority

Notice to All Members

The Landfill Does NOT Accept the following items:

Tires
Batteries
Asbestos
Chemical Containers
Any Form of Liquid Waste
Paint
Animal Carcasses
Hot Loads (temperature)

These items must be removed from the landfill at a cost to the members

It is each member municipalities responsibility to inform their users and enforce the proper use of their bins

Repeated deliveries of prohibited items will result in monetary fines and potential service disruptions
