  Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll for the R.M. of Clayton No. 333 for the year 2026 has been prepared and is open to inspection in the office of the assessor from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on the following days: Monday to Thursday, April 17, 2026 to May 20, 2026.

 A bylaw pursuant to section 214 of The Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required.

 Any person wishing to discuss the notice of assessment or potential appeal may contact the assessor at the R.M. of Clayton No. 333, Box 220, Hyas, SK, S0A 1K0.  A notice of appeal, accompanied by a $200.00 appeal fee, which will be returned if the appeal is successful, must be filed with the Secretary of the Board of Revision, Lisa Peterson, Box 133, Preeceville, SK S0A 3B0, by the 20^th day of May, 2026.

The Rural Municipality of Clayton No. 333 has awarded Mowing RFP Competition No. RM333-2026-002 to Dennis Friesen.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, pursuant to Section 122(3) of The Municipalities Act and Council Procedures Bylaw No. 2018-02, the April 8, 2026 Regular Meeting of the Council of the Rural Municipality of Clayton No. 333, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office located at 113 – 1st Avenue North in Hyas, SK.

Pursuant to Section 128 of The Municipalities Act and Public Notice Bylaw No. 1/2006, the Council of the Rural Municipality of Clayton No. 333 intends to consider the following items:

1. Purchase or Lease of a Grader;
2. Establishing a Purchasing Policy;

The Ministry of Highways’ Spring Road Restrictions 2026 Order 4, has been posted on the Government of Saskatchewan website. The Rural Municipality of Clayton No. 333 is subject to Spring Road Restrictions, effective at 12:01 am, Monday March 30, 2026.

As always, it is the trucker’s responsibility to know the rules of the road. Check the current restrictions:

• on the Highway Hotline,

• by calling 5-1-1, or

• on the provincial website saskatchewan.ca/truckingweights

Reminder:

Municipal Overweight Permits (Annual, Single Trip, Spring Road Restrictions) are required to haul within the Municipality and operators of heavy trucks must adhere to Bylaw No. 2019-01, which limits heavy trucks over 7 tons to a speed of 60 km/hr.

The Rural Municipality of Clayton No. 333 is accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified contractors for roadside mowing operations within the RM for the 2026 season.

The RFP may result in the award of one (1) year Agreement, with an option in favour of the RM to extend the term for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year for a combined three (3) year total term.
